Dear Annapoorna,

Two years have flown by in the blink of an eye since you came into our lives. You weren’t part of an extensive plan, nor were you a venture we had carefully considered, but your presence has given our lives a renewed sense of purpose.

From being an NGO, overnight, we found ourselves on an entrepreneurial journey. Our center, which had long operated under TWCO, transformed into a small-scale production house. We hired and trained underprivileged yet talented cooks, igniting their passion for creating great food. Their determination to earn a stable income fueled our shared obsession to make this business succeed.

I’m fortunate to work alongside like-minded people who share my passion and dedication. It wouldn’t be fair to single out anyone in particular because every member of our team has played an invaluable role. To me, each team member embodies Annapoorna’s spirit.

A special mention must go to Mrs. Sailaja, the true pioneer in this process, whose noble vision brought you into our lives. Her relentless dedication and hard work pushed us forward and inspired us to take bold steps. Initially, we were so focused on revenue growth and nurturing you that we all considered Annapoorna our second home, willingly sacrificing time with our families. And you must thank Mrs. Anurag Kumari, who uplifted us whenever we felt low or doubted our path. There were times when we were less concerned about making a successful venture and more about ensuring your very survival, despite resistance from many directions.

Mrs. Shashi Banzal took the motto, "The more you are seen, the more you are sold," to heart and built a PR team to connect with potential customers. We were committed to expanding our customer base, reaching out with attractive posters and nutritional information.

Each of us contributed positively, and to save costs, we shared lunches—a hit from day one. Tiffins became part of our lunch gatherings, creating a joyful shared experience.

The only expense TWCO had to bear was our two-odd cups of tea each day. “Chai pe charcha” became the most productive part of our days, where we’d discuss everything from recipes to cost-cutting strategies, promotions, delivery schedules, and volunteer rotations.

Annapoorna, in such a short time, you’ve given me so much joy that I’m a fan for life. My days have been consumed by thoughts of you, and my family often asks, "It’s lovely to see your dedication, but what if you have to move on?"

With a big smile and teary eyes, I’d reply: we give wings to our creations so they can soar to new heights. And we sit back proudly, enjoying a cup of tea while watching them grow.

Now, you are officially registered—you have a birth certificate! Congratulations, dear Annapoorna. May you one day be recognized as the best in the food market.

With all my love and blessings to you and every member of the Annapoorna family.

Yours truly,

Manjari
