Diet for CKD patient
SP. Instructions:
- Avoid high salt per cooked meal and avoid pickle
- Avoid aerated drinks
- Limit water intake to 1 litres
- Avoid spicy food
Early Morning
100 ml of lukewarm water
B/f 8.30 am
Poha 2 tb Sp /suji upma 2 tb Sp/1 besan cheela (with vegetables) + 1 boiled egg whole + 2 small pcs. Of watermelon
11 am
Papaya/ apple/ guava
Lunch 1.30 pm
1 bowl dal + soft chapati 1 + thick curd 1 small bowl+ vegetable
3.30 pm
1 small bowl of fruit like apple /2 pcs watermelon/ papaya
5 pm
50 ml tea + 2 biscuits
7.30 pm
Finish dinner by having medium bowl yellow moong dal khichadi / dal and boiled destarched rice + 4 to 5 pcs of home made paneer .
Do’s
- Have garlic, ginger , onion fresh cut, Shimla mirch, karela, tinda kheera, bhindi, cabbage,kaddu, parwal , baingan in meal as vegetables.
- Skimmed milk
- Egg white, chicken 1 PC a day grilled, fish one pc a day.
